Review the member or business profile, ask clear questions, independently verify licenses or credentials, and meet in a safe public place when appropriate. A profile or verification badge is not a guarantee.
Protect money and accounts / Protege tu dinero
Be cautious with advance payments. Never share passwords or confirmation codes. Avoid gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or pressure to move communication off-platform when something feels suspicious.
Jobs and housing / Empleo y vivienda
Do not pay to apply for a job. Confirm the employer and written terms. For housing, verify ownership or management authority and inspect the property before sending deposits.
Food and services / Comida y servicios
Ask providers about applicable permits, insurance, allergens, sanitation, and professional licensing. Businesses are responsible for complying with their local requirements.
Report concerns / Reporta problemas
